Small Business Marketing

All sales start with a lead.  Yesterday many businesses trusted the yellow pages, Penny Saver, and traveling salesmen to get them leads.  For most businesses these methods don’t work any more, are too costly or have limited effectiveness.  The amazing thing about the internet, if done the right way,  is the cost effectiveness of  generating leads online.

The bad news is that the amount of skill and experience required to “do it the right way” is beyond the means of most small business owners.  You have to focus on satisfying your customers.  
The good news is that hiring a consultant or service to do this for you is so cost effective.  If you don’t know it yet, the reality is that you will be forced to get involved in promoting your business on line sooner or later.  The longer you wait the higher the cost of entry and the more ground you will loose to your competitors.
